Biographies
Evon M. Spangler
Ms. Spangler graduated from William Mitchell College of
Law in January 1998 cum laude. She is the co-founder
and managing partner of Spangler and de Stefano, PLLP. Prior
to her current position, she was the co-founder and managing
partner of Huot and Spangler, PLLP. She focuses her
practice in representing small businesses, family law, civil
litigation and appeals. Ms. Spangler is active in the
community. She is Co-Chair of the Minnesota Women Lawyers
Voter Outreach and Education Committee, a volunteer mediator
with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, and is involved
in numerous other nonprofit and charitable organizations.
Perry M. de Stefano
Mr. de Stefano graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School
in May 1992. He is the co-founder and partner of Spangler
and de Stefano, PLLP. He has been a long-time Legal
Aid attorney and practiced with the law firm of Davis and
Dammeyer, PLLP where he focused in estate planning and guardianship/conservatorship. He
focuses his practice in civil litigation, business
law, probate and estate planning. Mr. de Stefano is
often invited to be a Continuing Legal Education instructor
on civil litigation and landlord/tenant matters. In
addition, he is a clinic supervisor for William Mitchell
College of Law. He is also active in the community
as a youth football coach.
MiaLisa E. McFarland
Ms. McFarland graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in May 2007 cum laude. Prior to attending law school, she obtained her Masters Degree in History from East Stroudsburg University and her Masters Degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University, and worked as an educator in NYC. During law school, she worked to intertwine education and law by drafting curriculum for Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights, International Leadership Organization and Equal Justice Scholarship. She focuses her practice in family law and estate planning. Ms. McFarland is the Secretary and a Board Member of Conflict Resolution Minnesota, a member of the Steering Committee for Creative Conversations Film Series, and a volunteer mediator for Community Mediation Services. |
